A real itinerary from someone who actually went β€” not a Google copy-paste

πŸ“ Where to Stay β€” Jewish Quarter (District VII)

We stayed in the Jewish Quarter and it was genuinely the best decision we almost didn't make. Everything is walkable, it's lively without being overwhelming, and you're close to restaurants, cafΓ©s, ruin bars, and public transport. If you're only here for 24 hours, location matters more than the hotel itself β€” stay here.

πŸŒ™ Friday Evening β€” Arrive & Walk Everything

Don't plan too much for the evening. Just walk.

Seriously, Budapest's magic is in random streets you didn't plan for. We stumbled into views and corners that weren't in any itinerary, just by walking. Some of the best moments of the trip were unplanned.

What to hit:

🍽️ Dinner: Stay in the Jewish Quarter - lots of options, walk until something looks right.

One thing nobody tells you: Budapest is a serious party town. The nightlife is genuinely incredible and goes very late. If that's your thing, the ruin bars in the Jewish Quarter are right outside your door. If it's not, the area is still totally fine β€” just lively.

β˜€οΈ Saturday Morning β€” Thermal Bath (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

SzΓ©chenyi Thermal Bath is a must. Not a "nice to have." A must.
